Civic & Community Outreach

PJM Spring Basket DriveThrough fundraising, walking or volunteering time, our employees have demonstrated support of dozens of charities and efforts that benefit our communities. Many employees also are driven to “give back” in gratitude for their own success by helping professional organizations as well.

“When asked to participate in the PJM-sponsored St. Gabriel’s Hall mentorship program, I would have never guessed how fulfilling it would be. To be in a position to teach about an industry that many people within the African-American community are not historically privy to was nothing short of amazing. One moment I’ll never forget was when a mentee on my team stopped me as he was leaving our last meeting and said, ‘Miss, please come back – you inspired me to get my OSHA certification.’ I knew at that moment I had made an impression on this world.” — Francine Murphy, Senior Analyst – Market Settlements Development
